Meet Satiya

After many years training in bodybuilding, aerobics and dance Satiya returned to yoga with the intention to relieve work stress and back pain. The transformative effects of this ancient discipline on her modern life revealed that yoga is more than pain relief and a popular form of exercise. She discovered that Yoga is a way of being, seeing and experiencing the world; of which we are each an integral and connected part.

 

Yoga enabled Satiya to build connection to her own self while letting go of stereotypes and judgment she held about her authentic personhood. Satiya  guides practices in Yin and Hatha Flow style of yoga as well as facilitating one-on-one yoga therapy sessions. She is trained in Yanumoja yoga, which believes strongly that the mind, body and spirit connection comes through looking first inside one’s self. If you can’t find what you’re looking for inside your inner being, you won’t find it out there in the world. You must first
love yourself.
